Tutorial on how to use effects in photos in this site in your own images
The image that follows was postprocessed with PhotoChances (for Windows)
You can use this exact effect in your own images with the program very easily as it stores the “recipe” of the effect inside the image itself. In PhotoChances It's just a matter of loading the "recipe" and the image you want the effect applied to. Here's a step by step description of the procedure
* First download and install PhotoChances. It will run in limited Evaluation mode but it will allow trying all the features and saving the result at a limited size. The program is at http://www.photochances.com/download. Once installed you will have two icons, one PhotoChances Slideshow and another PhotoChances Lab.
* Copy the image above to your computer (in most browsers simply clicking on the picture and dragging to the desktop will work)
* Run PhotoChances Lab.
* Next you have to load into the program the effect contained in the image above. Either you can do so using the button "Load effect from image" or simply dragging the image copied to your disk to the top zone of the window.
* Next you need to choose the image of yours you want the effect applied to. Again you can use a button "Load image" (near the bottom) or drag your image file to the center of the window
Now you should see your image with the effect applied. Save it or you can additionally fine tune the result with the sliders at the right. With this particular effect try the first one Luminosity and the Saturation.
The effect on many of these images can be used the same way.
